Art@RMS is for everyone. Using the Michigan State Standards for Visual Art, we develop basic art skills in the context of art history, appreciation and visual literacy.
The core philosophy of the Art@RMS is that middle school age students are forming their judgment about ability and interests. To that end, projects are assigned as springboards for exploration through the Visual Arts. A student's determination to make art is a key factor in success. Sketchbooks are good records of developing skills. |
